Question ECU/TCM Problems, Reset?

ive been having problems with my transmission lately, today i bought the parts i thought it needed and installed them, beliving this was the fix for the problem, after installation my car still goes back into "limp home mode" & Check Engine lite comes on, just as before i installed the new parts, i put a new input and output speed sensor in, and also installed a new solenoid block, because my ecu was reporting "shift solenoid C " malfunction. The thing is my car works fine for about 45 seconds always after start-up, then jumps back in to limp mode. The Question i am asking is, did i install something that was already fine to begin with and just didnt fix the problem, or Do i Need to go to the Dealer and Have the OBD-II COdes erased, i took the battery off maney times for long amount of time for reset, and it still does it, im not familiar with how ecu's hold memory and if it needs to be cleared/reset via obd-II reader or is battery disconnet just as well. please help if you have anythign to add or say, everyone thanks in advance.
