Re: will this idea work

Is your truck a double cab? If so there might be room, otherwise I don't think any of that will fit.

The Donahoe built Tundra acess-cab has one bucket seat in the middle and a 12" sub on either side. It's hard to see in this pic but you get the idea.

If you used one or two 10's and mounted them vertically you might be able to fit them in the middle with a seat on each side. Take some measurements and play with it...

Re: will this idea work

It would be a PITA! you would have to climb over the drivers seat and then go back through the middle, but once in there, it would be fun. I would be more inclined to try to put two seat and speakers in the middle. But I think you'd have to have small speakers, 8-10" max.

You are going to have to take some measurements, this is somewhat uncharted territory that you're venturing into...

Re: will this idea work

yeah it'll work. i work at a car audio shop and i've done it before. it's very tight and you can only get in 1 10, at least in the truck we did that's all we could fit, we used fiberglass with some mdf cut out. it was pretty simple once we got the demensions. make sure to get the air space for the sub and make sure it's possible before you go and buy the sub. it takes time but when you get it done, and it's done right...it rocks HARD. the truck had an orion amp running the sub and it shook our entire building.
