You know, I just don't understand people that think "We need to pull out of Iraq. Just look at this! Now they're capturing American hostages and murdering them! It couldn't get any worse!" THINK ABOUT IT. If these people are willing to stoop to that level to try to get what they want, murdering innocent people that are trying to help rebuild their country, then wouldn't that just be one more reason to not let them run a country? One more reason to not let them get what they want? One more reason to finish what we started?

That's my 2 cents...

Those people who are lured to work overseas in WAR ZONES for far mor money than the job is worth do so at their own risk.As far as I'm concerned, there's little sympathy for people who are greedy and stupid enough to go where they are not welcome.

Uh for one, killing your enemy one person at time is not how you wage war, secondly the people who are doing this are not the majority in Iraq, thirdly the people who are doing this are obviously getting pretty desparate and incapable of thinking of any better more effective ways of getting their message across.
I'm still not sure "what we started" but it may as well end as soon as possible. And I don't think that some fools murdering a couple of people every now and then is really going to effect anything much at all.

Someone dying is tragic, theres no doubt about that. The person dead had the choice of being in a war zone, no one forced them overseas. No one wants the terrorists to run the country anyways

As sad as these beheadings are don't you think that pulling out would show the terrorists that doing this kind of thing works? These beheadings are evil, and the terrorists that use them use them to get just the reaction out of people that you are having.

Hmm, in this particular instance, wasn't their message that they wanted two female Iraqis released? I wouldn't blame them, after the Abu Ghraib mess...

That being said, acts like this are barbarous, and they hurt their cause as much as help it, because although it shocks us, and clearly shows us that Iraq is not a place where we should be, it also alienates the more moderate Iraqis who they must ultimately rely upon for support.

So if they kill all of the hostages, it's o.k. for us to kill the female prisoners - right? I mean if they really wanted them out of the prison they wouldn't kill the hostages, that's the way these things work.

according to us, we don't have any female prisoners... although I'm not sure if I believe that. Then again, where are the iraqi extremist terrorist murderers getting their information? And why would we have female prisoners?
