fuel pump?

i have a 1996 cavalier, and i saw a fuel pump for a 1992.. i was looking online to see if there is a difference, and it appears that there is not.. i just was wondering if any of you knew.

the differerance is that on the 92 u can just install the pump, on the 96 u have to install the entire sending unit,also there is a pressure differance. this all sucks cause apump for the 92 is about $50 & the 96 is about $400.

a 92 calls for an ep313 (delco part#) pump, and a 96 calls for a mu269, which is a module assembly, so they are not interchangeable
