OK, so the motor is in and everything has been checked and re-checked. The injectors, distributor, wires, pumps, and spark plugs are all fine. The motor will crank but then shut off. If your standing in front of the car, the first header is hot, then second is warm, and the others are normal. (1st beeing the furthest on the right) Keep in mind that this is an automatic with stock LX ECU. (motor bolted right up) We know the wiring to the ECU is right, but were thinking the motor just want run on the LX ECU.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! I missed taking first place at NOPI because of this, and yes that's cocky, but i would have. I'm want to have this car ready for Scrape Fest this weekend. Every magizine you can think of will be there. Thanks for any help in advance.... |

Re: Can't Get ZC Swap To Start
Go look on ebay for a PG7 Auto or PM7 Auto ECU. That is your best bet. Also check the exhaust cam angle sensor. That could be a problem too.

Re: Can't Get ZC Swap To Start
You can't use your stock LX ecu. I have a PG7 for an automatic that's in great shape. I'll sell it too you if you want it. PM me.

Re: Can't Get ZC Swap To Start
I went to the junyard abd swiped an ECU from a 90-93 teg. Put it in and it fired right up, but now I'm getting a code 1, 4, and 5. Since me and my buddy couldn't do anything with it I just got it towed to my local shop. I didn't want to drive because the timming sounded off and it ideled a lil under 2k RPM. Hope to have it back tomorrow, if not Friday.

Re: Can't Get ZC Swap To Start
1 is your o2 sensor
4 is crank angle sensor. You prob have the wires backwards. 5 is MAP sensor |
