A Wonderful Idea!!!!
i think we should some people besides me build 1:25 1949 mercury's . It would be an excellent contestor what ever you wanna make it. You can do whatever you want with it to it , it would be who can build the wildest custom, or wildest rat rod.

Well, it's a nice theory and all, and the AMT/Ertl 1949 Mercury is one of the seminal kits in our hobby, but the trick is finding enough people interested in building the subject and then giving them the reason to compete.
Plus a lot of our finest builders are tied up competing for the Le Mans contest.
