Re: base eclipse injector size???

depending on what car you have... all manual turbo cars have low impedance 450cc injectors... the 1 gen automatic turbo cars have low impedance 380cc injectors, although the 2 gen automatic turbo cars have low impedance 390cc injectors.

non turbo cars have high impedance 240cc injectors...

not sure about the 1.8l non turbo or the 2.4l spyder non turbo... do a search

Re: base eclipse injector size???

yes... all the computers are the same in the 2nd gen, its just the 450cc injectors flow a lot more so you can get more air flow from your car before you hit fuel cut!

Re: base eclipse injector size???

eclipserst you could get more fuel but the ecu doesnt care what the system can currently handle it just goes by the stock setup so fuel cut would stay the same wouldnt it? since its not actually topping out the injectors its just getting shut off by the ecu when it thinks its getting close.

Re: base eclipse injector size???

Only the 1g autos have the 390s (and 13g). With 2Gs, the injector size and turbo size is independant of tranny type. All t25/450cc.

well if thats the case then www.vfaq.com is full of shit!

What is the stock injector size on a [DSM]? Many questions of this type can be answered by the following references:Specification
1G 1.8L - ?

1G 2.0L NT - 240cc

1G 2.0L T - 450cc (manual) / 380cc (auto)

2G 2.0L NT - 240cc

2G 2.0L T - 450cc (manual) / 390cc (auto)

Spyder 2.4L NT - ?

GVR4 - ?

Re: base eclipse injector size???

It is indeed incorrect then! 2G autos use 450s, for sure. 1g autos should be 390, I'm 99% positive on that one. But 10cc is small enough to ignore for most poeple anyway.
