89 CRX Si

Well, I might be joining the 4th gen Civic/2nd gen CRX group here shortly. A buddy of mine found an 89 CRX Si for $100. Thinking once I get the RexSi (my 87) up and going, me and my bro could work on that. Not sure what is really wrong with it, but I figure that for a good engine, $100 isn't a bad deal. I really hope I can get ahold of it for him, since the 92 hatchie he's been working on, we just recently found it has a junk title... Sucks for him. Anyways, just thought I'd share a little tidbit.

Re: 89 CRX Si

No idea. My friend's still checking on it. If nothing, the motor is good.

Re: 89 CRX Si

I would be more worried about the body than the motor, stock motors are cheap and easy to come by (I have seen people selling them for around 150 in good shape), and if you want to downgrade a bit, d15s can be had for free almost if you watch out (enough people want them out of thier garages)......but if the body is rotten, there isn't much you can do, cost affectly atleast...

Re: 89 CRX Si

Well, the body is in good shape, just making sure it has a working title... Had enough issues with non-titled vehicles lately.
