Stereo bracket removal
Hey,
I am sending the stock Bose to the Clarion repair center to get it fixed. When removing the stereo, the A/C control panel came with it. The only way to reinstall it is to get that damned bracket off the stereo. I've tried some pretty brute force methods to get them out to no fruition. The only thing I've managed to do is begin to strip the screws. I've applied a little WD40 to help, but nothing there, either. |

Yeah, they are pretty much a pain in the ass. I had the best luck when I used a socket wrench with a socked the same size as a screwdriver bit I had. Try that.
