Exclamation PLEASE HELP - engine flooding/not idleing correctly?!?! I'M DESPERATE!!!

I have a 1994 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. Yesterday my engine started sputtering as i was driving down the road, and finally killled. I got the car towed back to my house, and thought well maybe its the spark plugs - i replaced them (what a byotch to do i might add) - new plug wires, that night it ran fine - i drove it about 40 miles and no sputtering or anything, well today it started again, so i just replaced the fuel filter, NOPE-not the problem. DOES ANYONE have any suggestions as to what the problem might be? the engine I believe is flooding itself out. when it is at a high RPM (2500) it runs pretty good, but as soon as you let off the acclerator - it sputters. PLEASE HELP ME!!! I AM DESPERATE. either reply to this or send me an e-mail - [email protected] - you have no idea how much any suggestion would be - I know i just can't afford to pay 600.00 and take it to the dealership..

PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!?!

Thanks!
