Replacing power window switches

I have a 2002 Taurus on which the driver side power window switch works pretty much at random. I bought a new control panel (all of the window up/down controls plus the child window lock switch). I also looked at some driver doors in the local junkyard, and it looks like to replace this switch panel all I need to do is (1) pry off the cover to the panel, (2) unplug the old one, (3) plug in the new one, and (4) snap the cover back on. Am I correct, or do I need to go at it from the door panel?

Thanks.

Mike

Re: Replacing power window switches

I think you are correct Mike, I've had my door panels off to put an additonal insulating pad on each side and the switch panels come out the back.
