Idle 95 probe?

I bought a 95 probe 2.0 automatic and it seems to start fine and run fine and then at times the idle drops to 500rpm and it dies unless I put it into neutral and keep reving it and then back into drive ? Does anyone know where to start?

You should replace the spark plugs and the distrubutor caps. If that doesn't work then you might have to get new fuel injectors. You might also want to try and see if your pcv valve is on tight(Black thing sticking up on to of engine).

Check the timing belt. Mine does the same thing and i had to have the timing belt replaced. It may have jumped a tooth or maybe missing some teeth.
