Ok, here's another intermittent problem...it's the power door locks on my 1990 Honda Civic. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't...any ideas??

Re: Power Door Locks
Could be a short, a frayed wire touching metal, a bad connection, or just wet. The older the car gets the more there is a chance for power parts like that to act up on you.

Re: Power Door Locks
Water may have gotten into the switch on the door. Like when your windows are open and you use the washers and the wipers just toss that shit onto the door. Unless I'm the only one that has this problem...

Re: Power Door Locks
I'm just going to take the door panel off and have a look-see soon as I get a chance. Maybe something will be obvious. I'll let ya know.

Re: Power Door Locks
Inside the door panel is a little control box for the power locks. Make sure everything is tight and water didn't find its way into it.
