I have 265 on mine now at stock height and it looks alot better than stock. Fills the wheel wells nicely. I'm not sure you would want to go any bigger though with just a 2 inch lift.

What kit did you use for your lift. I'm wanting to do about 2-3 inches also but dont want to spend 6-800 bucks on a kit. I was thinking about finding some 2500HD springs and swaping them in.

Re: largest tire size

I have a 1999 Z71 and I currently have 285's on it with no problems. I don't think you can go any bigger without a lift, but can anyone prove me wrong?

Re: largest tire size

Shouldn't a 2003 be in a different area on here?

Your K5 should accept a 33 inch wheel with no lift and only a slight rubbing with extreme wheel turn and a decent bump.

The 03 (and 04-05) should accept a 285 easily as they've touted the new 20 inch rims (which need serious mods on a 4x to protect the power steering pump, but a 2wd should be fine).

Check with the people you're buying the coil from, they should know as well.

Re: largest tire size

Is a 33 going to look goofy without a lift, cause my money is going towards other things.

Well, "goofy" is a personal preference. There will be less space between the wheels and fenders with a larger wheel and no lift. You could consider a 2-3 inch body lift for no more than $200 and I don't think you'd have any problems with the style.

Again, this is personal preference... the 1993 Impala that just left my dealership with 20" rims looks goofy, but SOMEBODY liked it enough to spend that much money on them.

As far as physical specs... they'll fit. That's all I was saying.
