costs to maintain
Hey guys...It's time to start looking for my first luxury car. To make a long story short, I'm looking at the Discovery II SE. I was at a dealership yesterday looking at a couple 2001 models, and it looks like I'm going to get a pretty good deal on one. What worries me is one of the two things that are not covered by the warranty: BRAKES!!!
I just read another thread on here where someone said a break job including pads and rotors costs $800. I don't plan on doing much offroading and I'm definately not going to be hot-rodding a truck that gets 16 miles to the gallon. So I'm hoping a break job is less than that, and the truck doesn't eat up pads like some old delivery van.
Aside from the brakes, are there any other expensive fixes I should be aware of on an 01? I appreciate your help!
