1981 850special

Hi all need to no just purchased a 1981 850special seems that when you try and push it back it wont roll is this natural for the 850 special scents it does not use a chain or a belt to drive it or is there something wrong runs great just cant push it backwards.

Try neutral. It should roll back then. Sometimes if a clutch is worn or dragging, it won't roll back easily when you pull back on the clutch lever, while its in gear.

Try neutral

No Sh!t would of never thought of that.

Thought maybe someone new these bikes scents they only made them for 2 years if it was a problem with the drive shaft.
