Angry 2003 XLT 4.0 Extra-cab 4x4 Parts and Goodies

I like my truck and am willing to put some money in it, but everytime I get a catalog or do a search on the internet I find things for F150's and the like. Very little for Rangers.

I'm interested in getting more Horespower from the 4.0 V6 using a Chip or tuner. Also I'd like to put on a Cold air intake.

Any thoughts or suggestions..?

Re: 2003 XLT 4.0 Extra-cab 4x4 Parts and Goodies

Well I just spent alot of money on my '03 FX4 4.0L sohc here goes:
265/70 R16 Interco super swamper SSR radial tires ($178.95 ea.)
2.5" Dynomax exhaust with Super turbo muffler (need headers yet)($159)
Jet performance chip ($220)(getting programmer yet)
Airaid throttle body spacer ($109)
Bomz racing intake ($24.99)
Splitfire spark plugs ($32.04)

That's what I've done and its awesome.
If your looking for a cold air intake k&n has one for about $220. Thats alot for me right now so I just got the cone filter and pipe by airaid which helps alot already. My truck is sucking so much air now it sounds like I have a turbo. The jet chip adds a bit but I think the programmer would be better. It sells for $330. By the way, most of this can be bought from www.summitracing.com
