a wacky idea that just might work
im going to be buying another lincoln... either a 92 or a 95/96. does anyone know if i can put an air suspension system on the front of the car? if i could do this, i could hook switches up to the pumps to manually control the level of the car, almost like hydraulics but cheaper. let me know....

Not without serious work.
You'd have to fabricate some parts and it would be more work than it's worth. Just leave it as is, not worth messing with if you ask me.

You might as well just put a real air bag system in there than to go through all that. Plus for an adjustable system like that you need a air tank that has consistant pressure (from a pump) from which the air bags would draw the pressure from. Plus with that stock pump.....I know a few guys with airbags on their whips and $3oo - $4oo upgraded air pumps that take over 10 minutes to fully pressurize the tank, so I dont think that stock pump would work.
