do you have the throttle position sensor in correctly? i know on the z32 they are adjustable. if you have it adjusted down to far, you would be starving the engine of air causing it to die.

explain wont start, is it a hard start, it takes forever to start. Or is it a no crank no start. , does it attempt to fire the engine or does it just crank.

If its a hard start check the MAF, and the TPS, and the IAC (Idle Air Control) If any of those are messed up then it will be a slow start or a hard crank start/ inconsestant start.

If its a no start no crank then it could be the starter, P/N switch(AT), or clutch safty start switch(MT), or battery.

attempter to fire, it could be the ignition system, fuel system, or the air intake system.

you will have to find how to properely adjust that sensor
also sometimes it can through out the ajustments for the aac valve and idle so look in to that
i also endured this problem with my 89 pulsar 1.8L
its a real pain in the @$$
