Proposed System, Gimme Feedback

Hi guys,
My new car should be in the driveway within 2 months and this is the system I am planning on with my installer.

High End Clarion Head Unit
MB Quartz 6.5" Splits (front stage)
2 x 10" Kenwood subs in a small, sealed box
4 channel Kenwood amplifier

lots of sound deadening.

My preferred music style is dance - trance, hard trance, hard house, hard style, nu NRG all that kinda shit.

Whaddaya think?

Re: Proposed System, Gimme Feedback

Different subs, different amp, different speakers... Oz I should go over and bug you on OT more often. try the http://www.edesignaudio.com/combo combos. MB quarts are not my style, they are also a bit to expensive. Combo 4, I suggest. If you want or can spend more money on 2 subs, go for it. I personaly would recommend a single 12, or a single 15. Also, if you don't know what you are doing box wise, they will make you one for a fee. I would recommend porting if going with a single driver(even for SQ), and sealed for 2.

kenwood doesn't make the best car audio equipment, ED is much better. haibane, are those ED amps shipping yet? i believe that the ed comps are just rebadged cdt's, which are good speakers, but i'm not sure which modle.......

Re: Proposed System, Gimme Feedback

guys. Will workshop it. Can you suggest some alternative (quality) 6.5" splits so I can squeeze another sub in there?

I like the carbon fiber cdts if you want to shell out the extra 150 or so dollars

Re: Proposed System, Gimme Feedback

Also if you can still get combos on www.edesignaudio.com/combo. They have a good line up with 2 subs, 2 amps, a pair of components.
