HELP!!! 1994 Escort Wagon LX Transanxle

Engine was making an aweful clacking noise, no power. Bought a used engine and swapped out. Started up fine but then trans fluid gushed from the radiator adjunct (the line that runs fron tranny to radiator for cooling). Is this a plugged line? Didn't swap out tranny filter. Could the problem be there?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
