Whack Windshield Wipers

I got a 98 Blazer and my wipers are going haywire. The intermitten doesnt work right, it's either on or off , but only sometimes. Then when I turn off the wipers, they keep running for about 10 to 20 swipes. What do i need to do? Anyone?Anyone?

Huh?. Do you mean the multi-function stalk?

This sounds like a "pulse board" problem. GM had an SB for this that expired back in Feb '04.

I had the same problem, wipers wouldn't work when it rained.
This is a well known problem on ALL GM trucks of this era, '96-'01.

Every parts retailer carries this assembly for that specific fact.
(Watch your local paper ads for pulse board sales)
