Our cars showing up in video games

As you all know, video games are becoming huge. I have recently been noticing our Beautiful cars showing up in many large video games. 3000GT's are going to be in Need For Speed Underground 2, definitely the biggest and most hyped racing game of all year, other than Gran Turismo 4. They are also in games such as Tokyo Extreme Racer 3. Also in most games you get the crappier cars first, and then later on in the game you are able to obtain new, better performing cars. In the games i have played 3000Gt's are some of the last cars you obtain. Its sort of cool knowing we own some of the top Imports in the racing scene. I dont know how you guys will respond to this, i just think its cool that huge audiences are being introduced to our cars, and understanding how awesome they look, and how powerful they are.

Re: Our cars showing up in video games

There is a bunch of information out about it now and i saw some screenshots of a crappy blue and a purple/pink/magenta color 3000gt, sad color yes, but it was decked out with rims, body kit, lol even hood scoops so they are pretty much allowing you to do nething to the cars. There is a bunch of stuff on it at www.gamespot.com, somewhere like 70 screens. There is also an official site which is easily found on google. The game is due out in november sometime, just before christmas of course

Re:

It's more than likely a TT, then again it may be both
And they should have your body kit.... or at least something similar.

Taken from gamespot. Belongs to them...

yea, but thats not always the case, i have project gotham racing 2 for xbox, and there is a class of cars called pacific muscle. they r ur supra rx-7, evo 8, sti, skyline, and vr-4. i was very dissapointed with the vr-4, its one of the cars you dont have to buy, and its not very fast and handling is poor. they made the sti and evo tops, followed by the rx-7, then supra, then skyline then vr-4. all the cars cept the vr-4 spin out on corners, but they mad it so slow...very upsetting, hopefully nfsu2 will represent wut our cars are all about.

Re: Our cars showing up in video games

Gran Tourismo 3 has the SL, VR4, and VR4 turbo in it... which is silly, because there shouldn't be a difference between the VR4 and VR4 turbo. In fact, they cost the same and have same power. It's like a typo or something lol. But anyways, that is one of the fastest cars to sup up that is under 40 grand. In fact, it's faster than many of the cars over 40 grand. It was the 2nd car I bought, and I kept it as long as I could. Unfortunately it doesn't turn sharp enough in the game, so I was forced to upgrade to a Lotus Esprit 350. So sad :P

Hey i dont know if anyone has played this game, but i just saw it for my first time today at an arcade. It's called Midnight Tune, something like that, and it's made by Namco. They have the 3000gt GTO and you can also save your progress by purchasing a card. It's just like Initial D. So i got a Mitsu 3000gt "TWIN TURBO" GTO and i purchased a card ............ and for some reason i start off with 280 hp .......... sigh lol i know it's a video game but damn ....... atleast be ACCURATE .... lol i was mad! But hey atleast they have the gto. They only have 3 choices of Mitsus in that game. 2 Evos, and a 3000gt ..... i say 3000gt's are getting popular!

lol i wonder if in the video games, the active aeros work .... hmmmz

I don't have a 3000GT, but have been in love with them for like 5 years now. When NFSU came out...I was like please...Supra and 3000GT, I got one, but not the other. Hearing this makes me cry for joy! Fun fun game. Also, SRS (some racing game) has a Mitsu GTO in it, and it is almost as fun as NFSU. It has good gameplay, but fixing up the car takes so long (6-7 screens to equip a front bumper kit). Good to hear though! Good to hear!
