Post Tell me what you think about this SI

Well i found this deal on my other forum i visit. ...

http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/inde...howtopic=45041

It has no rust at all but the only thing is that the drivers side door is now dented. I haven't seen it yet but its there. The rear looks like is damage but not that big. The front bumper is scuffed up. Not a problem there. Well he was gonna sell me the car not running but i asked him if he can piece it up so i can drive it back to AZ. Hes actually workin on it and i offered him 1200 for it. Oh and it comes with everything to swap in a b-series motor. I dont know what it is exactly but thats what he told me. So what you guys think? I dont care for the motor since im goin to drop in the c5 in there next month

Looks decent....kinda looks like a monster truck with that lift kit LOL j/k.

I'd say its worth what hes asking and more! I paid $2200 for my 89 Si in much worse shape. I'd pick it up if I were you.

that rear body work ant nothing to fix, buy it. I didnt see a dent in the door either, but being black and a picture it would be hard to see.

The dent is there but not in that pic. How do you fix the rear? Is it hard to replace?

Re: Tell me what you think about this SI

the rear splitter piece is held on by two or three bolts. Take of the rear bumper to get to them, or atleast thats what I did at the junkyard, I kicked that bumper off real good and unbolted that bitch, only to find a ton of rust on the inside of it. So I then proceeded to beat it against a taurus until I bent it real good.

Re: Tell me what you think about this SI

It has five bolts I believe, one on each side and three in the middle. Make sure to swap out the key macinism (wow thats spelt wrong) before bolting it all back together.

So your one of the jackasses that takes stuff off at junkyards and brakes it on purpose because you dont want it, even though other people might be able to use it.

Alot of times I take things off other cars and see if it'll fit on my car cause there's one up at my junkyard that is exactly like mine. Same year, color and model. That's how I find out if seats work, the guage cluster swap, the Lights, etc. But I always put the stuff back. I think though I left the dx gauge cluster lying on some ford. Oops.
