need advice with my 91 pa

I have had this car for over a year now

1991 park avenue with 260,000 or so miles


Now heres the problem, it did this 9-16
I was on my way to the local mall when I was about 2 miles from college when, I was going to make a turn and I hear a clank/clunk kinda sound and the engine just quits
And now it will not start at all.

Oh and up until this happened, nothing was wrong with the car except rust

1.What engine?
2.Does it turn over when attempting to start?
3.Does it have oil in it?

no it doesnt
yes it has oil

just, got off phone with shop and they said they replaced the crankshaft sensor and it fires right up
