Angry wont start when warmed up

i was given a '91 century [3.3 litre] that runs perfect when cold. as soon as the engine warms up it dies and will not restart until it's almost cold. i've replaced the ignition module and it made no difference. the service engine lights not on and a scanner shows no codes. a fuel pressure test shows 37 pds.

Re: wont start when warmed up

When hot, right after it dies check the crank position sensor. Check it at the plug on the module with an ohm meter for continuity. Also check the oil sending unit the same way. The crank sensor are known to be temp sensitive and the harness contacts can expand with heat causing the engine to shut off. If both test good for contunity, then test the crank sensor per instructions found in a Haynes or Chiltons manual. Good Luck.
