UNO electrics ??? Arghh!

Hi,

Anyone give a clue on a problem with our dear old uno!! (1986 45).
the normally frantic single wiper is now always on...

the switch has no effect. I've changed it for another switch but it is still
going..

In the morning when cold and or the battery is lower volts, I can switch
on the ignition, all its all quiet. but start the engine, and its off again
thrashing to and fro..

Nothing but switching off or pulling a fuse will stop it .

Is there a timer module anywhere that may have gone off. ??

dont wory mate....the MK2 uno turbo suffers from telectric faults too!!!,
bust just to get it to a SPARKY asap!!!

Sorted it last nite.. was the wiper motor.. theres a motor operated contact in it. and it wasn't making a connection.

cleaned bent a bit and its all going again..
