Top Speed?
Does anybody have any idea of what the average top speed of a bone stock 1st Generation Eclipse(Talon, Laser) is? I'd like to know both the gst's, tsi's, speeds as well... Dont worry about automatic, i'm not concerned with that, 5 spd all the way...

i have done 142 befor but the car kinda floats if you know what i mean.i have never topped it out but it had more.

My 1992 TSI AWD 5sp BONE STOCK would do 143, I ran it WOT several times on my favorite wide open road when I first got it. The last several MPH took a while.
FWIW I recently got a 2001 SS Camaro, bone stock I ran it on that same road and hit the limiter at 161 MPH.

Damn i didnt know a camaro could achieve those speeds, but hey it is the ss... But anyway thanks for the input... And what the hell happened with the 4g64 motors (3rd gen eclipse) those things are toppin out at 125... You would think they would get better over the years...
