ecu modules

i just bought an ecu mod off ebay. i was just wondering if anyone knew anything about them. if they work? it says 15-20 hp. will it hurt my motor? supposed to lie to the ecu about the a2f ratio.

sorry to say - waste of money.

It is simply a $0.10 resistor the you shove in to the AIT sensor to fool the PCM to thinking that the outside temperature is cooler - therefore dumping more fuel in. You can make the same thing yourself by placing your AIT sensor into the freezer until it get to about 40 degrees and then measure its resistance.

THe problem is that the PCM will adjust the change out after a couple of drives.....
