tranny question

hey, is it possible to swap out my 99rs auto tranny to a manual tranny? if so, what kit or anything would be good and approx. how much would it cost to convert it?

Anything is possible, just keep in mind u need new flywheel, clutch, linkage, plus the interior change.
A gearbox will run you aprox $800 - $1000can for a nice one, $300 Clutch, $350 Flywheel

Yes it is posible, how much would it cost? Well the price of the trans any ware from $500 used - $2000 new. Plus the shifter, clutch pedal, clutch cable, all the other clutch goodies, and shift linkages. You can get those from a junk yard. Not sure how much thouse will cost you. Plus labor unless you do it your self.

I all ready know every one is going to tell you its not worth it, just sell it and buy a gst/x. It seems to happen alot. But do what you want man, it wouldent be cheap or easy. But you will be able to sell your auto trans for some cash.

Edit, its weird when people post the same time as you..and no you dont have to do nothing to the engine.
