I recently purchased a 91 Camaro RS. I have had a new custom ehaust added along with a new stereo installed through Best Buy. I just had the linkage fixed. Now, on my way to work from lunch. I stopped at a red light. When the light turned green I proceeded to go, only the car wouldn't hardly move. The RPM's were at 4000 and the car would barely move. There is not anything leaking from either the front or real seal on the transmission. The trans fluid is clear and full. I cannot figure what is wrong? I asked a friend, he thought the torque converter might have come loose or the filter dropped into the pan. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or had this happen before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Being a woman, I hate to take into a transmission shop, especially without any idea. You know they will try to rip me off. Once again thaks for any help any of you might have.
