camber kit installation

i finally got down to the shop 2day to get my camber kit installed. once they installed it, there was no doubt i needed a wheel alignment bad!..but when i started to drive the car i noticed that the right side of my car is now way higher then it was when i brought it into the shop and the left side was dropped and also when i hit the smallest bump on the road my axles felt like they were gonna snap. so i desided i shouldnt drive the car nomore, so i ended up getting it towed back to the shop and the fucking shop was CLOSED!..so i had to leave it in the back of the shop hoping noone would fuck wit it. but anyway what can cause one side of the car to be higher then the other? and wtf when i hit a bump it feels like something is breaking?
