Junkyard 58 Chevy From American Graffiti!!

Hey guys,whats goin on? This is my latest, all i did was prime it with some different colors, then i mixed some paints and then dabbed it on with the brush repeatedly around the wheel wells on the trunk,fenders. Then i took the hammer lol and started smashin the roof in and and the fenders and stuff.










hope you like it i know there isnt a lot of detail and stuff it was just a two day preject, comments and shyt is welcome. thank you .

well i gotta do more work with the interior and the engine and undercarriage, i only did the body i took a lighter to the engine to ake it look like the engine was rusting, cuz the paint and shyt bubbled when i torched it. um but i will get better pics right now i have a broken hand so i cant do models for about a week or two. so expect all that done by october

Haha!! A lighter to the engine!! Dude that thing seriously is badass! In the interior you should cut the seats with a knife or something then get a tiny piece of cotton and glue it in the cut so it looks like the seats are ripped

thanx and yes it is paint. i made the rust color my self i mixed ruby red,orange,yellow,and a tad of black until i got the rust color i desired.all the paints were by testors. i did it the cheap way out ,then i dabbed it on thik, but not so thick that u cant see the color underneath (i did it with a brush first and then i used the felt, do not brush on liek u are painting and engine just tap it on) and then took a peice of grey felt and just kept tappin it vigorously and there u go .it took about 45 minutes. i did the trunk with a white base . since the paint ripped the lil hairs off the felt i took the lighter and burnt the hairs off after the paint dried for two days so i didnt light the car on fire.

o yea i will also get some better pictures as soon as possible, maybe within the next few days or week. the car is my friends car, i did it for him u guys know him he is bah humbug, then i bought the white one to show u the difference and what it looked liek b4 i recked it

thats also the first diecast i ever done and that sthe first time making it look like a junkyard car , i think it is pretty good for first time doin that type of work dont u think?
