Re: My Cold Air intake Pics

i used a breather and it functions like a bypass. Think of it as a cracked straw if the crack in the straw the breather is above the water level the water will not pass that point. So the breather is my bypass now to how much water it can take i am not sure. Now i know for sure i will try my best to avoid puddles.

Re: My Cold Air intake Pics

seriously thats one clean 420a.. almost makes me sick when i mentally compare it to mine lol.. but yeah the whole breather thing seems logical.. the brackets on my cai didnt come close to fitting.. but since it was so cheap it half wedged agiainst the battery and stuff so it dont move lol.. but mines one of the hot air by the airbox cai's so i dunt worry about water too much.. looks good tho way to be! peace

Re: My Cold Air intake Pics

yes i felt good my torque increase in 2nd and 3rd gear. But with out a dyno i dont know about horse power. O and hellifiknow the brackets on my cold air intake did not fit ethier and they wanted me to put a rubber strap around it and screw it into the car. So what i did is i went to advanced auto picked up a box of jb weld and bent one of my brackets and then welded it to the pipe.

Hey isnt like part of if sort of behind the radiator. So some of the heat coming off the radiator will still be sucked in? But yeah that is still hella better then a short ram short ram is 99% behind the radiator. Nice work dude.

Hey cbell, does the car sound different with the cai installed? Like a deeper sound? I would love a deeper sound. I just purchased a cai and it should be sometime early next week. I can't wait!!!

it really doesnt make a difference overall, but you will hear air being sucked in when you rev. Dont worry you will like it (then it gets old after a while).

Good Luck!
