abs and traction control
In my 1993 mark VIII the traction control and ABS lights come on within 1 or 2 minutes of driving. The ABS does not work. The brakes do lock up. I don't think the traction control is working eather. I was told it is possibly some kind of interconnect module that costs about $200.00 to replace. Would appreciate any info on this problem.

Re: abs and traction control
My '96 TC developed the same problem. 1st it was intermittant, now it's always.
I was instructed from a guy that's done this 100 times in a Lincoln garage, to unplug all the sensors, blast the terminal ends with a solvent cleaner, then pack the connectors full of dieelectric grease and plug them all back in. That didn't work. My light's still on and I'm too cheap to get the ABS codes pulled.
