How good(or bad) is the 1994 model year 3.3 GM motor? Have heard of the 3.1 but not the 3.3. Looking to buy a low mileage Old's and it has this engine. How does it hold up? Thanks for your input! It really help's! John

Im a pretty big fan of GM motors, so I might be baised but there never really was a "bad year" for them. My moms got a Toyota Seinna that has 60,000 miles on it and it's having valvetrain problems, my dad has a 2001 Honda Civic LX that has 90,000 miles on it and needed a new tranny and one of his piston rings blew just a while ago. IMO Honda makes awesome engines for reliability so that was just bad luck, and me driving it probably aided that haha. I own an 89 Chevy C1500 with a 305 and it has almost 280,000 miles on it and I have had ZERO problems with it, other than average check ups and everything. I drive it like a Ferrari everywhere I go . IMO that motor will last you a million miles if your not crazy with it and keep up with all the oil changes, PCV valve replacements, blah blah blah and so on. I never owned one though so I could be wrong but im just comparing my experiences.

P.S. You can get banned for reposting the same thread more than once, even if it's in a different forum. (I think) So just a heads up.
