Auto to Manual tranny swap.. HELP!!

If there'z any J-body know-it-allz reading this, help me out...
my gurl has a '96 Cavalier Z24 manual 5.. I'm aquiring a '98 Sunfire GT automatic here VERY soon.. she wants an auto (due to back problemz) and I wanna stick.. anyone got info as far as how this needz to go down, or how much work will go into it, or how much a shop will charge to do the operation? a few people have told me its not worth it 'cause of how much work it'll take. I mean, its the same motor and everything.. even has close to the same mileage.. I figured jus take the clutch reseviour and fluid linez, and what else is needed right from the Cavy.. but otherz are tellin me that the linkage and other important parts might not even fit right. any help you guyz got is greatly appreciated
