Talking 1966 Mercury Comet Runs and Drives Convertible Chopped top $1700.00 Or best offer

Asking $1700.00 or best offer. [email protected]
I have a 1966 Mercury Comet Caliente chopped top. The car for sale is in running condition it has a rebuilt 289 engine with nothing more than about 2,000 miles on it since rebuild. The comet also has a brand new carbuerator. The car starts in the turn of the key. The car does not smoke or leak any fluids. The transmission shifts like it should. As you can see from the pictures the car looks great but does have some flaws and blemishes on the exterior, such as some dings and some scratches, overall the exterior is straight. The car will need a paint job. The interior of the car is also in need of some repair. Bucket seats are not original and the rear seat needs replacing. This car is not a true convertible the previous owner cut the top off he was in the process of making it a convertible. Car was originally a 4 door but the previuos owner made it a 2 door. This car will need some interior and exterior repairs. Floors, fenders, quarters, frame rails, wheel wells all look great all glass looks great. Car is sold as is with no warranty. All sales are final. Bidding is at no reserve car will sell for what ever price it brings in. car will need plates and inspection. For it to pass inspection it will need the signal lights worked on will also need new tires, and a car battery. Sold as is with no warranty, all sales are final. My email is [email protected] feel free to email a reasonable offer,Shipping is the buyers responsiblity.
