Anyone have Corsa exhaust?

I am just curious if anyone has a Corsa exhaust system on their 1999 or newer Silverado? If so, how do you like it? Do you have interior resonance? Did you lose any low end? etc...
I installed a Gibson swept side single exhaust on mine, and I was very disappointed in the sound. It was too quiet, and I lost bottom end. I then installed a Cherry Bomb glass pack in place of the muffler, and I got a good sound, but the interior resonance was just too much. So, I took it off and put the stock back on.
I still want to put exhaust on my truck, but I dont want that interior resonance. Someone told me to put a straight pipe on it. I would think that would be REALLY loud! The Gibson system is 3" from the cat all the way back.
What size pipe is the Corsa single exhaust?
I know I am asking alot of questions, but I really want exhaust on my truck, and I am just looking for some opinions.

Thanks!

Re: Anyone have Corsa exhaust?

I don't have a Corsa. I have Flowmaster 40 Series, and really like them.

I think they are pretty loud though, but I Dynomatted everything, and it is not noticable in the cab anymore.

Thanks for the replies.
How much is involved in Dynomatting?
I was told that the Silverado cabs have some
different venting system, that is why there is
so much resonance.

USAGM1-
Is your system single or is it split rear?
Any cab resonance?

corsa exhaust

My system is split in the rear with loud mouth sounds very good if you like a mello tone there is no cab resonance just like it sounds on corsa website it is pretty loud when youjump on it but i like the sound best of all because its not just a bunch of noise almost sounds like i have headers on my truck because of the tone highly recommend corsa easy to install to 1 hour taking your time hardest thing is taking your original exhaust out because of it being one piece ididnt cut my new exhaust to take it out i had to raise my truck to get enough clarence to pull it out cab is real Quiet downfall price of it

USAGM1-
Thanks for the great reply, this is what I was looking for.
I just got back from the shop. (I have access to a hoist.)

I put a piece of 3" straight pipe in place of the muffler.
While the sound is OKAY, its still not what I am looking for,
plus the resonance is still there. Not as bad, but still there.

I guess I just have one more question...(I ask alot of questions)
Can I buy just the Corsa 3" in/3" out muffler?? I already have
the piping.
If not, I have found the single side exit system for about $600,
does that sound right?

Thanks again for all your help.

I called corsa exhaust you have to buy the whole system $659 for the exhaust, sometimes if you order off the net you are able to save the tax but i have the one pipe in with the two pipes coming off my muffler coming out the back call corsas 800 number they can give you a better idea what its going to cost thats where i got mine direct from corsa, hope this helps you out.

Thank you for the help. I think I am gonna see if I can
find just the muffler on ebay or something. Its probably
a long shot, but I already have the pipes, might as well
see if I can save a little cash.

Thanks again!!
