help!! electrical troubles
At low rpm's (1500 to 2500) car will spit and sputter until i floor it. After that it lurks right out of it and runs fine when im on the throttle. I have already replaced the coil, plugs, plug wires and distributer. My cruise control stopped working for two weeks then started again and when i get out of my car the accesories dont always turn of when the door is opened????????

just replaced water pump after distributer...Not too sure what opti spark is...if your talking about the distributer i got it from GM.

so ya i guess some water could have gotten into the distributer because it went right after i replaced it

i dont know how the distributer would affect the other weird electrical symptoms its having though.....if i install a new computer does gm have to program it to my car?

no, you buy a ECU that is specific to your year and model. i dont think you have a bad computer though. did the two problems start at the same time or different times, cause im wondering if you have to seperate problems. the idle problem sounds like the IAC to me...
