95 riv waterpump change?

hello.
i have a 95 riviera w/sc engine. i need to change the water pump, because the pulley is wobbling. i got at far as unscrewing the first four screws on the pulley, that's it.the round metal piece seams to be trapped between the water pump and some big black metal piece, which looks pretty import, so i don't just want to unscrew it. is there anybody out there who can help me. this is the first time i have ever done this or any other job on my car. except the oil change. i have no mechanical know how as of yet, so if you could please use easy to understand terms i would greatly appriciate it. if for some reason or another you find my messege intertaining feel free to laugh. thank you and have a wonderful day.

Re: 95 riv waterpump change?

Hello i changed my water pump i found out you have to losen the power stearing to losen it .If you looking at the engine from the front will be the lower left side .To losen the power stearing look at the pulley should have some holes in it. when you move the hole to the top you will find one screw and the bottom another one . After you losen it the whole thing should move to your left giving you space to now remove the rest of the bolts holding the water pump in place! Well i hope this helps some one
