Question gage lights

I dont have an owners manual for my 1997 sunfire. A light that looks like a container and has a arrow pointing down comes on every once in awhile then it goes off. I checked all the fluids but I dont know what the light is for, can anyone help me?

Re: gage lights

It might be your coolant light.
The sensor is in the overflow tank.
Wack the thank with a ascrew driver, there might be an air bubble or you will have to top it up a bit.

Bradee...if its above the check oil light and under the air bag light on the right ...it's exactly what robbie said...its the coolant light..
just check it, possibly top it up, but more than likely its an air bubble.
I had the same thing when I did a rad flush...I couldnt lose the air bubble in the tank until I raced her..as soon as I gunned it the light went off...and hasnt come back on since, (I had to top her up tho after that...but it worked for me)
