Changing black strip on 1999 528i

I have an alpine white 528i, and it comes with black trim, standard. I want to change the black strip to an alpine white one, does anyone have any advice? I also want to change my tail lights to look like the newer 525, so any advice or good contacts would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I belive it just snaps right off. Im not 100% sure so Ide wait till someone knows 100%
