I have a 95 Accord and I just bought some new Headlight Bulbs. 4 to be exact. I'm worried though. I noticed that the Accord Headlights are plastic not glass and that the original bulbs were HB4 12V 51W Low and HB3 12V 60W High. This weekend I bought 2 12V 100W High and 2 HB4 12V 80W Low. Obviously the new bulbs have more watts, can this become a problem because of overheating (Melting washers, etc..) or anything of sorts? Or should I not worry about it....too late now.
Thanks |

hi,
I have the same wattage like you... no prob with wiring till now. as for the plastic problem, it won't melt but eventually be more yellowish. I t wouldn't be too obvious considering the age of the headlight right now...already not as clear as new
