Add on CD Changer

Hey all

I'm new here and i gotta say this is the best forum i found for cars and you guys are great. Anyways I have a 1999 GTP and its got the stereo with the casette deck(the one without the equilizer) and i was wondering if i am able to add on a cd changer to this unit. I Dont want to change the whole deck but i just want to add on a cd changer. So is it possible?? if so what would i need? and what will work with the stock deck please post up links of changers that i can use.

thanks

Next time I get a chance to check out how the GTP is wired I'll let you know unless you get it figured out by then. It has that radio in it with the changer.

Mine has a wiring harness on the right side of the trunk behind the carpet covering close to the tail light. I installed an aftermarket changer in that location and didnt use the existing harness. If the head unit has controls for a changer, plugging one into that harness may give you what you want. I guess it would have to be a GM cd changer.
