front end noise
i've got a 99 intrigue which is making a rubbing and vibration noise when you take your foot off the accelerator, and goes away when the brake is pressed. Any suggestions

Front end noise
I have a 2000 intrigue and had a similar problem ,it was the steering shaft ,had to have the rack replaced

i forgot I posted this. It ended up that the front left wheel was comming off. Some Sh*thead at the dealer I bought it from pounded the crap out of the lugs when he was puttting them on with the inpact wrench after state inspection.
Two of the studs broke off. When I finally realized what the problem was I tighted the remaining nuts. While doing this another stud fell right off as I was finger tightening it. That left 2 studs. I used to be in that line of work for 3 years when I was younger. Most mechanics are so careless when it comes to putting on lug nuts. The best thing I ever did was change careers. most mechanics are miserable to work with. I did not know what I was missing, now I love my job and don't mind going to work in the morning. anyway, enough of my rambling. Thanks for the help |
