Hi everyone, today i poped my hood to check out my engine and noticed that my grounding from the battery to the firewall was ripped off. I dont know how long it has been like that but will it hurt my car in any way? Sorry this is a stupid question, but im a little worried!!!

Re: Grounding ripped off of Battery!!!
it may cause some random problems with lights, accesories ect.. it shouldnt cause serious problems but you should fix it. might be a good time for a heavy gauge ground wire kit

Re: Grounding ripped off of Battery!!!
Not sure if it will hurt the car or not. But I would recommend to get it fixed right away. You could just take two ring terminals and connect them onto the two sides of the wire and screw them down. Just make sure the surface is clean and free of paint
