Re: Help with cold air intake

That goes to the valve cover, there is a rubber pipe that connects to the intake and VC. You do not need to use it, I plugged both holes with breathers
Edit>> Or not, does that long pipe connect to the smaller one, so that would make that hole on the long pipe closer to the front of the car?

Re: Help with cold air intake

it fits in the car perfectly but the smaller pipe that ccame with the kit had a whole in it that went to the the breather wich was hocked up with small blue hose in picture but the ohter whole in the bigger pipe has nothing to hook up to maybe ishould just plug it up or not i dont know need help tho i want to install it tommorw. I took it out of my car after i noticed that that whole had nothing to hook up to so i know thw intake will fit just fine but i was afraid dirt and other stuff would go into the whole causing problems.

Re: Help with cold air intake

hey ashah you should plug the hole on the pipe since its after the mas. with a breather it just lets in air that the mas cant track

cbell i bet its a hydrolock protection thing if it isnt i can tell you how to make it one. just put a small breather filter on it and since its up higher for your intake to suck in water it would have tio have water all the way up over that hole. kinda like trying to drink through a cracked straw. just make sure that you mount your mas after it

Re: Help with cold air intake

Don't have a MAS, 2g NT uses a MAP sensor

You can get a breather at autozone for $10 in a variety of colors

Re: Help with cold air intake
