Head lights

I have a 1999 explorer and the lights use to automatically just come when it was night time! Now, I have to manually turn them off and on? very frustrating! I did not get the owners manual from my fatrher in law when we bought it, so I have no idea on how to fix this? Anyone? Help!

Re: Head lights

Check the switch that should be on your mirror and make shure that it is not all the way to the left detent. If it is not then the sensor on the back of the mirror may be bad.
