IAC Valve
I have a 1999 explorer that will not stay started and idles rough. Once running for awhile it warms up and usually stays started! Now it wont even do that! Need to either replace this or clean it out! (seems to be a fix!) Can ayone help? advice?

Rob I do not think it is the AIC valve, does it idle rough at all? these new cars have too many sensors that can go bad it is hard to say. Does your check engine light come on at all? The code might narrow it down for you some. Also NEver clean out your intake manifold!!!!!!! they put a coating on them to prevent gunk buildup, cleaning it might cause more problems down the road. Sorry I could not help you more.
